Life Success and Independence
My goal is to identify and help resolve challenges having a negative impact on each of my clients' lives.
My job is to get you on the road to success and then give you the tools to maintain and expand your achievements independently.
I am certified in the practice of two techniques that are invaluable to opening the potential within each of us: Hypnosis and Emotional Freedom Techiques.
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state in which the conscious mind is distracted, allowing positive suggestions to bypass conscious thoughts and access your subconscious mind.
Hypnosis is essentially a means of communication between the conscious and subconscious minds.
How Does Hypnosis Work?
Our conscious "executive" mind makes decisions, analyzes, plans, and censors via conscious choice and will power.
Our subconscious "worker" mind works through imagination and emotions. Affirmations, visualizations, and positive language are the fastest ways to de-program and re-program the subconscious mind.
The conscious mind can prevent positive suggestions from entering the subconscious mind. During hypnotherapy, your conscious mind is occupied so positive suggestions can pass uninhibitied to the subconscious mind.
Is Hypnosis Medically Accepted?
Yes. In 1958, the American Medical Association (AMA) accepted Hypnosis as an adjunct to medical practice and was recognized as a legitimate, safe approach to medical and psychological problems.
The American Psychiatric Association (APA) and British Medical Association (BMA) have recognized hypnosis as a viable therapeutic tool as well. According to the AMA, within the next decade, virtually every outpatient surgery clinic will utilize hypnosis.
As early as 1956, a Time Magazine report discussed the benefits of hypnotherapy for surgical procedures.
According to Harvard Health Publications, a 2006 study showed that patients who underwent hypnosis and received suggestions of well-being before surgery reported anxiety levels 56% lower than anxiety levels before hypnosis. Patients in a comparison group, who received the normal pre-surgical standard of care, reported a 47% increase in anxiety.
What is EFT?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture based on new discoveries regarding the connection between your body's subtle energies, your emotions, and your health.
EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues.
Can Hypnosis and EFT Be Used Together?
Hypnosis enables you to access and influence your subconscious mind while EFT provides emotional healing that can clear our minds of day to day negativity and distractions.
The real value of using EFT along side Hypnotherapy lies in the rapid release of underlying issues to clear the way for achieving goals.
Who Can Hypnosis and EFT Help?
Each of us heals in our own way. Experience has taught me that the healing process begins when we find ourselves in a comfortable, supportive environment.
For some, privacy and discretion are paramount to successfully overcoming personal challenges. For others, having the comfort and strength of companions is key to success.
Regardless of the setting, hypnosis and EFT are proven techniques for:
Individual Therapy
People quite often have experiences in their lives that, knowingly or unknowingly, leave an impression on our subconscious. This impression, if negative, can literally hold back our inborne ability to succeed and achieve..
Executives, athletes, parents, spouses, etc., all have goals and aspirations. Negative influences on the emotions and subconscious mind can keep true potential locked away.
Teenagers are among my most common patient group. Embarrassing habits, anxiety, and behavioral challenges can all be addressed successfully and confidentially via hypnotherapy.
Once you've attained this freedom, I teach you to employ these techniques on your own to ensure ongoing success.
Group Therapy
Confronting life's challenges can sometimes be daunting, which is why I recommend my clients experience hypnotherapy and emotional freedom techniques with co-workers, family, and friends.
The mutual support of a group of people trying to stop smoking or deal with common stress, for instance, is invaluable.
In addition to being very effective, group hypnotherapy and EFT sessions are available at a reduced rate.
